In Newari language holi is said as holi puni. Puni means purnima in Nepali language that is full moon in English. There is nothing especial during this day. This day is celebrated by Newa community as other community do. People play with colors and water. In Kathmandu there will be good environment in Basantapur, Asan, Thamel. You'll also see foreigners playing holi in Thamel.
